Pizza & Baguette produces the FIRST GM-free frozen products in Europe! Since November 2017, Pizza & Baguette has been awarded the ARGE Gentechnikfrei logo, making it a pioneer in terms of sustainability as a company of this size!
Genetically modified raw materials hide in many of our daily foods without our being informed. We at Pizza & Baguette want to fight against it as a food producer and set a trend.
The reason for this is that no one can say for sure today what effects GMOs will have on us and our children.
Our raw dough pizzas are quality products without compromise, with selected, high-quality and non-GMO ingredients, made by hand - and, of course, entirely without the addition of colorants, flavor enhancers or preservatives. The best regional basic products, carefully and first-class processed by hand, guarantee the unique taste of the entire range of Pizza & Baguette.
The precise control of the handpicked suppliers is taken over by independent experts as well as the production managers of the company. Thus, customers and consumers can rely 100% on the in-house quality standards: a flawless, GM-free quality product, from fair, first-class ingredients, produced according to the strictest guidelines.
Just quality without compromise!

Austria Bio Garantie GmbH (ABG) was founded in 1993 as a Bio-Kontrollstelle. At the beginning of 2019, the agricultural biocontrol was spun off into the 100% subsidiary Austria Bio Garantie - Landwirtschaft GmbH (ABG LW). The control of the commercial enterprises in the area of processing, trade and import remains in the ABG.
Our common task is the control and certification of biological products: from the biological primary product to the final processor.
The ABG and the ABG LW work on behalf of the food authorities
MSC - Sustainable Fisheries
Not only the quality of our fish, but also the way it is caught, is important to us! MSC stands for sustainable fishing, the conservation of the oceans and a pleasure without a guilty conscience!
The MSC environmental standard
The MSC Environmental Standard for Sustainable Fisheries has been developed over two years (from 1997 to 1999) by more than 200 global experts in science, fisheries and environmental protection. It has since been periodically reviewed and updated with the latest scientific evidence.
Based on our environmental standards, fisheries around the globe can be tested for their sustainability and evaluated. In order to be considered sustainable, a fishery must meet our three basic principles and achieve at least 80 out of 100 possible scores in each of the following ways:
The fish population is in good condition
The MSC seal is awarded only to fisheries that fish a fish stock so that it remains in good condition or has been proven to grow there again. MSC-certified fisheries may not fish for overfished stocks.
The habitat of the sea is spared
The MSC Sustainable Fisheries Seal is awarded only to fisheries whose impact on the marine ecosystem is low. The impact of the gear used on the seabed and the unwanted bycatch play the central role here.
The management is effective
The MSC seal is only given to fisheries if their management is geared to sustainable fishing on the seas. MSC-certified fisheries need to know and minimize their impact on the ecosystem. They must comply with all applicable laws and be able to react quickly and appropriately to changing environmental conditions.
